Background:

A personal note from Jane Weber

“Seeking a town with diversity, culture and some good old-fashioned Rockwellesque qualities, my husband and I moved to Princeton in 1982. As a new resident, you might do what I did - attend a gallery opening at The Arts Council and take some classes there, go apple picking at nearby Terhune Orchards, see a play at McCarter theater and join the Newcomers Club at the local “YWCA”.  That was just the beginning. There is so much to do in Princeton and the surrounding communities!

As a University town, Princeton affords all area residents the opportunity to take advantage of sporting, music and theater events as well as lectures.

I worked for many years as a Production Coordinator and Associate Producer in the film and TV industry. The transition to real estate agent was natural. For me, every transaction is a “production” with many players that work behind the scenes before “show time” arrives for listings and buyer-contracts go to pending status.  A lot of thought and know-how is required to work effectively with all the players involved in a transaction as well as researching and analyzing market data. The behind the scene’s crew includes lawyers, other agents, inspectors, appraisers, contractors, staging consultants, photographers, social media directors, etc.  It is equally important to understand the appropriate marketing technique for each property – the right words and photos that capture the home and enable us to target the right audience in our marketing efforts.

While my job title is “real estate sales,” I don’t think of myself as a mere salesperson. I am in the service business and I am passionate about people getting the quality of service I would expect myself. Someone once told me, "You're the agent who puts the real in real estate."  They went on to say that they thought honesty and integrity was more important to me than whether the sale goes through and puts me into the next higher tier of Realtor Sales Awards.  This is true.  My focus is about the meaningful work that has made a big difference in the lives of my clients! Their testimonials are how I spell success!
